Plugin Get Recent Post From Feed

Get Recent Post From Feed is a plugin that create a list of recent post from our other blog, not from current blog. This is useful if we have more that one blog to maintain, and wanna share the recent post of the other blog to visitor of the current blog.

This is will help us promote our other blog, especially for a new blog.

Installation

Download the plugin archive and expand it.
Put ‘get_recent_post_from_feed.php’ file into your wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Go to the Plugins page in your WordPress Administration area and click ‘Activate’ for Get Recent Posts from Feed.
Still in WordPress Administration area, go to the Options » Recent Posts from Feed page, and input Feed URL of our other blog, one address per line.
Edit your sidebar template, and put the code that was specified in the options page.

Template Tag

We need to modify our template to see the result of this plugin. We can put this list of recent post in the sidebar or where ever we want to, just call the function “get_rpf_list()” where we want it to show. For example:

If there are multiple address specified, please use the template code provided in the options page to display each recent posts.

Nice plugin. A nice addition would be to allow to put multiple feeds in, since someone like me runs several instances of WordPress together to power my entire site.

saya pindah hosting sekaligus upgrade. mau import semua posting, comment dan plugin dari worpress yang lama (2.1.2) ke yang baru (2.3.1), adakah plugin yang bisa membantu karena klo dicoba langsung dari menu manage-export lalu import hasilnya error ?

@dee: mending di backup dulu semua file sama databasenya pake plugin wordpressbackup, trus di donlot ke local, dilokal jalanin pake XAMPP (localhost), trus upgrade ke versi 2.3.1. kalau udah sukses ke upgrade, baru upload semuanya ke hosting yg baru

upgradenya tinggal jalanin wp-admin/upgrade.php aja kok.

nice extension but it doesn’t show Turkish characters properly..

i tried to geet feed from my other blog which is using iso-8859-9 as charset. then, may it becuse of charset? if so, what’s the solution?
